  • CISSP, QSA, and PCI are targeted certifications and must have experience leading projects.
  • Business development experience is preferred but not required.
  • Travel up to 50%.
Minimum Education & Experience
  • BA or BS required, CIPP or other certifications a plus.
  • 4+ years’ privacy, security, information technology audit, or compliance program experience.
  • Familiar with local and global privacy and compliance standards (i.e. HIPPA, GLBA, NIST, EU Data Protection Directive, proposed EU Regulations, and APEC Privacy Framework).
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy ad ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Organized, responsive, and able to gain support/consensus from team members and client management.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead small and big teams effectively, manage multiple projects and accounts, and provide meaningful feedback in a timely manner.
  • Update leadership on issues and progress of solutions.
  • Perform privacy and/or security reviews including regulatory and industry assessments, risk analyses, information inventory and data mapping, vendor management assessments, and additional projects.
  • Document assessment results and prepare project deliverables that reflect analysis and observations to be communicated to client management. 
  • Create presentation materials and present assessment results effectively to Senior Management.
  • Research, evaluate, and communicate client privacy requirements and identify current posture against these requirements to internal team and clients.
  • Contribute to development of team’s assessment methodologies to help increase assessment efficiency.
  • Develop and implement security and privacy awareness training materials.
  • Lead and support clients in incident response management, including incident investigation, fact-gathering and documentation, and regulatory or state breach notification procedures.
  • Actively participate in local privacy community and assist in creating data privacy white papers on hot topics and current events that will provide guidance to current and potential clients.
