Designed the valve and removable filter components, including an analysis of pressure loss across the filter, of a government-funded project to design a device to assist laryngectomy patients with the clearance of mucus, which holds a provisional patent. Responsible for the SolidWorks computer-aided design

Worked as part of a small group on all aspects of a design to help people who are missing an arm to rake leaves into a bag. The project was split into two parts, adapting the rake for single arm use, and a system to hold the bag as leaves are raked into it.

Analyzed an ice rink and the surrounding subsystems as part of a four-person group. The goal of the project was to look at the system, provide a written thermal analysis of the system with a focus on efficiency, and offer suggestions for improvement. Responsible for modelling the system for visual clarity and assisted in mathematical analysis using MATLAB.
