I believe that the environmental, health and safety (EHS) function can and should add value to any organization. I have made it my professional goal to try to create the most efficient and proactive EHS organizations wherever I’ve worked. I know that an efficient, collaborative EHS organization saves time and money, improves morale and increases shareholder value. My Qualifications: • Masters degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. • Experience in EHS program development, management, and implementation at Fortune 500 companies. • Managed Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety compliance auditing programs. • ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 and OSHA VPP implementation experience. • Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, ASME, NFPA and DOT regulations and requirements. • Developed and managed ESH budgets in excess of $3.4M. • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 1999. • Developed, planned and implemented Global Safety and Security policy/procedures, and ensured alignment with Company goals and objectives, including international operations. • Developed and delivered training in all aspects of EHS for multiple Fortune 500 companies. • Worked with corporate management to analyze regulatory changes, evaluate impacts on safety programs and the Company business strategy. • Communicated EHS management system structure and strategy to all functional group managers within the Company. Communicated the role each plays in satisfying the requirements of those programs. Modified programs as required by regulatory or Company policy changes and communicated changes. • Ensured site compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and oversees contact with appropriate agencies. • Developed action plans that identified deficiencies, corrective actions and required resources. • Created and implemented various process improvements related to management systems, audit processes, culture assessment, root cause analysis and others.
